Biography

I live in Singapore. I compose and produce music as my hobby. I was a band member from Peixin Primary School(Now Yishun Primary School) graduated in 2008, Ang Mo Kio Secondary School graduated in 2012, and now I am in Singapore Polytechnic Symphonic Band. I started in band playing the trombone and then switched to Euphonium, which proudly our Prime Minister Mr Lee Hsien Loong also played in his time in Catholic High School.

I Like many genres music across a very wide range of styles. From Baroque, Classical, Romantic to modern electronic dance music such as Dubstep. I also like to arrange music into piano arrangements.

Inspirations and Favourites

I was inspired into music composition or learning music as general because of many great film music, like Star Wars, Pirates of Carribean and Spirited Away. So very much I really look up for these composers: John Williams, Hanz Zimmer and Joe Hisashi. I found myself writing piano pieces really imitating to Joe Hisashi and Yiruma. But also will not forget how much I also admired classical music composers like Beethoven and Mozart.

My Favourite pieces are the legendary Symphony No.9 in D minor By Beethoven followed by Star Wars main theme by John Williams
